About me

Maria Vila i Redon

Specialist in private comparative law

I graduated in law from Pompeu Fabra University and I studied a semester at Radzyner Law School at IDC Herzliya in Israel. In 2014 I became a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and, a year later, I founded Drets.cat alongside a group of fellow lawyers.

I specialised in private comparative law, a branch which allows me to interact with lawyers from a wide spectrum of countries and keeps me up to date with legal news from throughout the world. I have participated in several international conferences around Europe, and having worked with various different legal systems at once has provided me with a comprehensive and complete perspective of the world of law. The languages in which I usually work are Catalan, Spanish, English, French and German.

After spending several years working in a Barcelona-based law firm with a global outreach, I decided to set up my own firm in order to enjoy a more direct relationship with my clients and continue growing professionally by exploring new and more modern disciplines.
